101: Beginner's Courses

Updated: Nov 12, 2020

So you bought yourself a four-wheel-drive. You've seen the commercials and the YouTube videos. You know it's capable of a lot, even without modification.

But you've also seen the fail videos and heard the horror stories. You don't want to get stuck or damage your rig. You don't want to follow a group of experienced off-roaders into the woods, only to discover that you can't keep up.

We hear you. You're exactly the driver we want to work with. Nothing makes us happier than teaching a new driver the basics of off-road safety and helping you to understand what your vehicle is capable of.

Our off-road driving class is designed to show the driver what their vehicle is capable of.

With zero classroom time we take the training to the trails for real world, trail training that will prepare you for your off-road driving adventures.

You will experience approach, departure, break over angles, off camber situations, mud obstacles, water fording, various ways to approach up/down hill and choosing the best drive line for your vehicle.

We will show you how to prepare your vehicle for driving off-road, covering the use of 4-low and 4-high, airing down, following a spotter, traction control, sway bar disconnects, hill decent, using a winch and more.

Our goal for the class is to prepare you for whatever the trails have in store, all while protecting the vehicle and most importantly keeping you and your passengers safe.

The 101 class is geared towards new drivers or for those who are looking for a refresher on basic off-road driving skills. Stock and slightly modified vehicles are welcome.

Check out events page on Facebook for pre-scheduled courses, or contact us directly to set up a personal class for you and/or some friends.

Course fee is $100 per vehicle. Group rates as low as $50 per vehicle available. (Solid front axle courses are separate from independent front suspension classes.)
